Raw Tweed

The weather in Jersey has been amazing!  Sunny and warm!  February has felt like Spring.  Perfect for running errands in my SheIn tweed coat.

SheIn has to be one of my favorite online shops.  Always on trend and super inexpensive.

Prints And A Bump!

Bright prints and bumps on this Monday!

Styling this growing bump has not been easy in this summer heat.  Luckily I can wear easy dresses like this shift dress that I got while I was down the shore.  The print and tassel details are super cute whether your an expecting mommy or not.  I wore it with heels for dinner, but you can easily wear flats for a day look.

Banana Republic Photo Shoot

Feels so good to be back!  Missed you dolls!   So many things are happening....... life is crazy like that.  The past month has been bananas!  No pun!

I have tons to share with you and a huge announcement will be up soon but for now, I'll start by giving you a behind the scenes look of a photo shoot I did with Banana Republic.

I worked on a style post with BR and they decided to choose some of their favorite bloggers to work with them on a photo shoot and I was one of the lucky ones.

It was honestly one of the best days that I've had since starting my blog.   It was such an honor to work with a company that I've admired as well as shopped at for years.

I didn't know how to act when I saw myself on this board......SOOO COOL!!!!!

My makeup was super natural.  I don't wear heavy makeup usually, but I was surprised how simple it was for a photo shoot.  Not even fake lashes!!!

After getting all glammed up it was time to put my first outfit on, I had a total of 4 looks.  I also had no idea that the shoot would be outside.  I have never modeled before so I assumed we would be in a studio just snapping pictures, but it was not like that at all!!!

We were all over the streets of NYC trying to get that perfect shot.  I even found myself getting my makeup done and hiding from the rain in a supermarket.  It was a horrible, cold and rainy day but I was so excited it didn't even phase me.  I was in my total Gigi Hadid moment all day long.  I was ready to quit my 9-5, take head shots and become a model.  Don't laugh....LOL!!!

Shoe & accessory heaven!

My favorite outfit from the shoot.  The blazer was made of this basket weave material that felt amazing.  It's definitely a piece you can wear through all the seasons.

Pretending I wasn't freezing....

The weather was horrible and I actually felt sick that day but it was a day that I'll never forget.

Here are some of the professional pics.

Hope you enjoy the pics!

Thank you Banana Republic for making my modeling dreams come true!

Winter Pastels

Kimono {c/o}: Wool Blend Plaid Kimono Style Jacket | Jeans {c/o}: Hudson

Hey dolls!  Happy Monday!  FINALLY, a new post!  Who says you can't wear pastels in the winter season?!   If the winter blues has you wearing grey and black on repeat, change it up!  Soft pink and baby blues are trending everywhere.  Pantene even chose these 2 colors as the colors for 2016!  Don't shy away from light colors, try a clutch or a belt for a subtle pop!

Moto Blues

Jacket: Super Glam News (not sure of the brand, sorry!) | Top: H&M | Skirt: Target | Shoes: Zara | Sunnies: Franco Sarto

Happy Friday!

I scored this fabulous moto jacket for only $15!  I attended a super fun event (Modern Latina Sip & Shop) in which you shop fellow bloggers closets.  I love to support my fellow bloggers and of course LATINAS!!!!  Thank you to blogger bestie Melissa from Super Glam News for the amazing deal!  Love ya boo!

Moto jackets are a great transitioning piece to take you from summer into fall.  These aren't your 80's moto jackets.  Fringe, zippers, shearling, and an array of colors make them super versatile and of course, badass!  Mine is a fun pastel blue, which is hard to see in these pictures, but it's perfect for a pop of color which is why I wore all black.  I'm not one for all black everything, I love to add color!

Soon on the blog, I'll have a beauty post in which I'm talking about a new skin care line, that I'm in LOVE with, an outfit post wearing fringe (I'm fringe obsessed), and of course my experience at the John Frieda salon.  Lot's of fun stuff, stay tuned!

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
