Sooo late with this post, but better late than never.  During fashion week, I attended Lulu's Style Studio.  One of my favorite parties to attend during fashion week.

Hey dolls!  I took advantage of the Zara sale and scored these sky blue oxfords for only $19.99!  Zara why do you always make me broke?!

 

I bought them because I thought they would be perfect for fall outfits, but I couldn't help but want to wear them now.  With summer coming to an end soon, I do like to invest in pieces that I can wear now and later.

A must have for layering during the summer season, is a vest. 

I've been obsessed with them lately, it's basically the summer jacket.  Their super versatile and can be worn in so many different ways.  I have another blog post coming next week, where I'm wearing a denim one.  What's great is that they can be worn pretty much all year long. 

 

Whether you go long, short, denim, silk or lace invest in one that you know you'll wear over and over again.  Their especially great for the office.

Happy, happy FRIDAY!  This felt like one of the longest weeks ever! 

 

I wanted to share an outfit I wore last weekend to a friends birthday brunch.  It was super humid and hot, I kept it easy breezy with a tank and light weight skirt.  I'm a jean girl at heart but when its too hot out, a skirt is a must.  Plus, I live in jeans all winter and fall so I love to wear skirts in the summer. 

 

Remember, just because the skirt has a print doesn't mean you have to wear a basic tank like I did.  Mix your prints!  Summer fashion should be fun!
