Happy Monday!  Sike!  Wishing it was still the weekend :(

I had an amazing time at Luckyfabb!  It truly is FABB!  I met such wonderful young ladies.  All in all it was an awesome experience.  I'm going to try and post both days later on in the week.  On Friday night after Luckyfabb, I had the pleasure of attending the Lulu's blogger meet up at STK in the city.  What a lovely time!  Thank you Stephanie!

We had a chance to view most of their fall pieces and WOW, I loved everything!  From leather to chunky knits, it was all fab!  We were gifted a few pieces from the collection and this leather trench was screaming, come get me MEL!  I think it's hilarious that lulu's named it "special agent," because I truly did feel very CIA in this jacket.  Lol!  I usually take forever to blog new pieces, I hate wasting an outfit but I couldn't wait to wear this!

Thank you, thank you Lulu's for an amazing evening and my fabulous outerwear!  You guys rock!

TTYL!

Project Punk

Hello darlings.
I attended the Project Runway All Stars Screening party at the Hudson Hotel on Tuesday night.  I was so excited that Alyssa Milano, Issac Mizrahi, and this seasons Project Runway winner Dom were all going to be attending.  I've been watching Project Runway All Stars since the first season, and I was super stoked!  I was invited by the lovely Erika from Lola Blue, The Closet

The first episode was all about PUNK! There were Alterna Haircare  booths making everyone look punk rock chic!  Other booths included Mary Kay and QVC.

I didn't have much time to plan an outfit, so I went with the classic little black dress.  The one thing that never goes out of style.  I added a gold belt and faux leather jacket for an edgier look.

Read Between The Lines

Happy day sweets!
Keeping this post short and sweet!  I'm leaving work early and I'm soooo busy!  Isn't that how it always works!  I'm breaking all the rules on this post, wearing white after Labor Day and mixing prints!  Just call me a rebel!  When the hubby saw me in these jeans, he says "you do know it's October, right?"  I told him, it's ok to break the rules sometimes!  Right?  Oh, one more thing.......

I'm going to LUCKY FABB!!!!  It's one of the biggest fashion conferences and I'm so excited to be able to attend!  I have all my outfits picked out and I'll be wearing these leopard booties with all of them!  Leopard is the new neutral and these bad boys are comfy and chic!

Army Vest Part Deux

Vest, top (Jennifer Lopez), & booties (Candies): Kohl's
Jeans: Mandee
Handbag: Gift
Bracelet: GroopDealz

Thirsty Thursday or should I say rainy Thursday!  It's supposed to rain all weekend here in NJ....geesh louise!  Anyway,  I'm guessing the rain will be good so I can stay in and organize my closet.  Have you put your summer clothes away?  Looks like I'll be doing that this weekend.

I wore this outfit on Sunday for brunch; and as you can see I rocked my army vest again.  I just love how you can wear it with just about anything.  Like I said before, you can dress it up or down.  A great piece for fall.  You can even make it your own by adding some pretty pins!

Hope you enjoy this post!  Thanks for visiting!

Movie Night

If Monday were shoes, they'd be crocs!

Yup, I'm in a silly/funky kinda mood.  I read that on an e-card and thought it was totally appropriate for this rainy and crappy Monday morning.

Hope you all had a fun weekend.    Friday was movie night with the girls and I'll start by saying that these pics took forever and by the time we got my camera working, I was a sweaty mess!  I was laughing so hard that I couldn't contain myself.  At one point all the girls were trying to take my pics and I had to keep my pose for like a solid 2 minutes.....hilarious!  The things we do for these blog posts!

Thank you Laura, Letti, and Jess!

Anyway, lets talk fashion!  I got this vest at Kohl's recently and I could wear it everyday.  It has that military inspired feel and I think it's a great piece to have in your closet; especially for layering.  Speaking of layering.....I really like layering necklaces!   The more merrier, right?  I think wearing 2 statement necklaces makes quite the statement and takes a casual outfit to the next level.

Short Necklace: Cheri Trendy
Long Necklace: Ny & Company

Leopard Flats: Macy's (Jessica Simpson)

I read something that says "leather is the new black" which for this season is very true.  But I feel the same way about leopard print.  It has really become the new black in my eyes.  These Jessica Simpson's are especially cool with the pop of color on the front.

Tee: Old Navy
Vest: Kohl's
Jeans: Mandee

Thanks for visiting!  Hope your Monday goes by veryyyyyyy quickly!  That's what I'm hoping!
