Happy Friday!
This felt like the longest week ever! So happy the weekend is here!
A few weeks ago, I was invited to the Serge Normant at John Frieda hair salon for a new fall look and a little shopping with SUNO.
I love me some John Frieda products, (I can't live without my Frizz Ease!) so needless to say I was super excited for this event. I was greeted with champagne, treats, and everyone was so nice and the salon was beautiful.
I didn't get anything drastic done on my hair, because after consulting with my stylist and letting him know that I've been heat free for 4mo. (can you believe it!) we decided to just tone my brassiness and break up my root a bit. My stylist was so helpful and gave me a few tricks to keep my curls healthy and fabulous.
After my five star hair treatment, we got to do a little shopping and the SUNO pieces were so bomb! The midi skirts were so pretty, but I ended up getting a beaded top which I can't wait to wear.
Thank you to everyone at John Frieda salon, and SUNO for a lovely afternoon!
It's beauty Monday on the blog! Sharing my current facial & moisturizer, so stay tuned.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Savannah Hair Therapy
Happy Friday sweets!
Horrible weather ahead of us here in NJ for tomorrow. Can't wait for spring! I can't even say we've had a bad winter, but I'm still over it.
The cold weather is horrible on my hair. I have curly, dry, coarse, and unruly hair at times. It doesn't help that I color it every 3-6 months either. With that said, I MUST use a deep conditioner or hair mask on my locks at least once a week. Intense conditioning can do wonders for damaged hair. I don't use the same one over and over again. I like to use different ones depending on what I feel my hair needs at that time. If I recently dyed my hair, I usually go for a color treated one, other times I look for moisturizing ones, and sometimes just the scent of one can be the winner.
Savannah Hair Therapy Treatment Masque with shea butter from Good Looking Discounts has to be one of the best masks that I've tried. A good deep conditioner can be pricey, but Good Looking Discounts provides quality products for hair care, skin care and body care at discounted prices.
I have nothing but great things to say about this Savannah hair therapy masque. Before you even put it in your hair, the smell takes you somewhere. Not somewhere tropical, more like Paris. I can't really explain it. It's not fruits or berries, it's rich and fancy. The smell is just out of this world. This masque is so concentrated that you can actually tilt the bottle and nothing is going to drip. A little goes a super long way. You can use it as a routine conditioner if you'd like, but for me it works best when I use it once a week with a thermal conditioning cap. I also sit under the dryer for about 20 minutes.
Hair Tip: Always detangle your hair before you get in the shower. It tangles less, which makes it easier to apply your conditioner.
Savannah Shea Butter Treatment Masque & Spornette -Prego Large Ceramic Round Brush: {c/o} Good Looking Discounts | Thermal Conditioning Cap: Local beauty supply store.
In just one use of this masque, I felt the difference in my hair. Talk about smooth, shiny, and oh that scent! If your hair needs moisture, I highly recommend this masque. Another thing I've noticed since using this product, is I've had less breakage. Just let the stuff work its deep conditioning magic, and voila - healthy, beautiful hair.
Have a great weekend!
