Reina Rebelde

Hi Sweets!  Happy May!

Today I'm celebrating Latina beauty with Reina Rebelde which means "rebellious queen" in English.  A new beauty line that celebrates the unique beauty of Latina Women.

Reina Rebelde was born out of something I share with all Latinas — a passion for makeup and extreme pride for my cultural identity. I’m driven by knowing that today’s mujer can’t be defined or placed in just one box,” says  Regina Merson, Founder and CEO.

Let me tell you, I'm obsessed!  The line is bold and sexy but also super feminine.  The packaging itself, is a work of art.

The colors are gorgeous!  Bright pinks and bold reds!  The lip color stick in "Rosa Salvaje" is my favorite.  The names were inspired by attitudes that every Latina woman can relate to.  This wild pink is perfect for Spring.

Another favorite was the "On your face + Color Trio in Coqueta, which means flirt.  The face contour color trio includes a pearl rose blush, matte bronzer and pearl white highlighter.  The perfect face palette to take with you on the go.

You'll also love their 4 Play Wet/Dry Shadow Palette and the Rebel Eye Paint for those perfect brows.   There's lots to love about this line, no matter your heritage.

I'm In LOVE With The Coco

Hi sweets!  I've missed you!  Mom life has been challenging and keeps me super busy, but I wouldn't change a thing.  Mom life is the best life!

Today's post is all about HAIR!  I get a ton of questions on what products I use to maintain my curls.  I always start with a sulfate and paraben free shampoo and conditioner.  My hair is naturally dry and these chemicals can strip the natural oils making my hair even dryer.  I have to keep my hair moisturized at all times.  Deep conditioning and oils are a must!  My favorite?  Coconut oil!  I use it for everything.

SheaMoisture's new 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Hydration Line is ahhhmazing!  It's my current fav!  It's made my hair healthier and shiny.  The leave-in is a miracle spray.  I spray it before styling and my hair feels super soft and manageable.

SheaMoisture has been my go to brand since I became naturally curly 2yrs ago.  Not only are all their products natural, but this coconut oil line is color safe!

My hair is in LOVE with this stuff!

My current styling products and even a style post coming soon!

Maybelline Eye Studio

My makeup routine is never complete without...........you guessed it!  MASCARA!  My everyday makeup is pretty simple with the exception of my lashes.  My lashes need to be voluptuous and bold!  Which they are neither without a good mascara.  Even on days that I don't wear makeup, I find myself applying a coat or two.

I got the chance to try the new Maybelline Eye Studio collection and I was super impressed!  My favorite of the collection is The Big Shot mascara which is collagen fueled with wavy bristles to coat even your tiniest lash.  The unique design gathers more formula, boosting length and volume!  No smudging or clumping!  The entire collection works so well together.  The Liquid Ink Pen Eye Liners ultra thin tip creates perfect smooth lines.  A cat eyes dream!

With gold, bronze, and copper shades your going to love the 24K Nudes Palette.  The shadows come in both matte and shimmery finishes.  Perfect for creating that smokey eye we all love.

The collection launched this month and is available at most retail stores.  With the pieces being super affordable, it'll be easy to get your signature look!

New Skincare Routine with Conffianz

It's BEAUTY Monday with Conffianz!  Who is Conffianz?

They are a skincare company dedicated specifically to Latinas, and their Clear & Confident Kit ($49.95) is specifically formulated to treat dark spots and uneven skin tones.  There is no one Latina skin type.  We come from many backgrounds and have many different skin tones.  Enriched with vitamins and minerals, each product in their Clear & Confident collection is designed to make a positive difference in the health and appearance of skin.

With the days getting colder, I have to change my skin care routine.  For my skin, moisture is key!

I started using Conffianz, about a month ago, the word Conffianz comes from the Spanish words “confianza” and “confidente” meaning trust and confidence.  Being a Latina with dark spots and uneven skin tones, I was thrilled to be trying this duo out.

I was mostly surprised with how rich both the moisturizer and cleanser really are.  The cleanser removed ALL of my makeup with just 2 tiny pumps.  I can't even get my makeup remover to do that.  I also love that the moisturizer has spf30, because even though the summer is over we need to protect ourselves from the sun.  This will for sure be my skincare routine for a while because my skin loved it!   You can buy Conffienz online or at your participating Target stores.  Target is even hosting a scholarship!  Read below......

Scholarship
Conffianz launched in 250 Target stores a few weeks ago and in celebration they announced the Inexplicablemente Bella Scholarship. Conffianz will proudly donate a percentage of its Target sales from September 15th through the end of 2015 to fund the Inexpicablemente Bella Scholarship. This scholarship will be available to females of Latino descent living in the United States who are or will pursue full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-or four year college or university, or vocational-technical school.  The winner will be announced on or around April 15th of 2016.
