Happy Monday dolls!  Why do weekends go by so fast?!  Hope yours was great!
This beautiful dress I received from SHEIN might be blue, but I'm feeling anything but.  My pregnancy in the beginning was pretty hard.  I felt sick all the time!  At one point I asked my doctor, am I going to feel like this all 9mo.?  Everyone assured me that I would feel better after my first trimester, but for me it took a little longer.  I am now 21 weeks and feeling amazing!  I'm definitely in the honeymoon stage and I'm so thankful that I can now enjoy being pregnant, and going through this wonderful life changing experience.  Can't wait to meet my little guy!
Lets talk about this GORGEOUS dress that you can get from SHEIN for less than $15!  They have all the top trends at super affordable prices.  I've been living in dresses during my pregnancy.  They just make me feel cute and comfy.  Every time I try to wear jeans or shorts, I feel like a stuffed sausage.  LOL!  I fell in love with the cut-outs, and its a bonus that it can be styled in a few different ways.  You can wear it as a boat neck, one shoulder, or off the shoulders like I did.  Its a perfect summer dress!  
Yes it's still summer!  Lets not get ahead of ourselves people.  I hate to hear, summer is almost over.  NO IT'S NOT!!!

Hey dolls!  I've missed ya! 

 

So I know I haven't had a new post in a few weeks, but my weekends have been super busy and well you know, the days just fly by.  I've also been trying to enjoy these last few weeks of summer, so I've been beaching and bbq'ng it up so my outfits have been pretty relaxed.   I still can't believe were at the end of August!   Today's post is just a cute re-cap of a blogger brunch I attended over the weekend.  

 

Blogger friend Alana from Alana Marie Style set up a blogger brunch and I was so excited to see my girls.  Long story short....Alana couldn't make it due to a terrible accident on I95, and a few other girls had to cancel last minute so it ended up just being Suzy Suzy's Closet, Patty Patty's Kloset and I.   We had a fabulous brunch at Refinery Rooftop with an amazing view.  Then it was a little shopping and a walk through Bryant Park.  I wore one of my favorite summer dresses that I got 2yrs ago from HauteLook.  Summer dresses are my go to, their cute and not clingy.  Unless you want them to be...LOL!  Perfect for those extra hot days. 

 

Next week I'll have a beauty post!  Thanks to Influenster, I got to take the 3 week better skin challenge using SuperStay Better Skin Foundation by Maybelline.  I've loved the results so far and I can't wait to share it with you.   Last but not least.....I caved in and started a SnapChat!

It's a HOT Monday in my neighborhood, stay cool out there!

 

We all love wearing summer dresses, and this season one of the latest trends is "cutouts." 

 

I'm not one to show too much skin, but little details like side slits and backless can be super fun and flirty without being overly sexy or raunchy.  If your not completely comfortable about cutout dresses, chose an area that your confident with.

Striking a pose w/ Vente-Privee USA

I had the pleasure of visiting the offices of Vente-Privee in Manhattan for a fun photo shoot to feature some of their upcoming sales.  Bloggers had to come up with a summer look with brands like Victoria Beckham, Maje, and Sandro Mandarine.  These are just some of the amazing labels sold on Vente-Privee. 

 

When we arrived at the offices they had champagne, fruit, cupcakes!  Such a fun set up!

As soon as I walked in and saw the clothes rack, my eyes went straight to this Sandro Manderine Ravaguese dress.  I swear it was the first dress on the rack and the first one I grabbed.  I just loved the color and the white trim on the sleeve.  I felt retro, like I was in a girl group in the 60's!  :)
