Mother's Day Wrap Up

Happy Monday sweets! 

I hope all you fabulous moms enjoyed your special day!  I had a wonderful day with my family!  Spent the day with mom, grandma, aunts, and a few cousins.  Just a perfect day!  I wanted to wear a dress since it was Mother's Day.  It was super chilly outside, so I had to throw on a cardi.  I could have went with black or white but that's boring.....LOL!  I decided to do this fun yellow and color block.

Hey lovers!  Are you wondering why were almost in May and I'm still wearing my boots???  Cause it's freaking freezing!!!  Mother Nature esta muy loca, and she's driving me even more nuts!  Listen to this....today's temp is 43 and tomorrow is supposed to be 75, then go down again to the mid 50's.  What!  So even though I'm wearing these boots, I might be wearing sandals tomorrow!  Don't you just LOVE spring!  Hopefully today will be the last day I wear these puppies!  #wishfulthinking

Happy Earth Day!  I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!  I had a pretty good weekend.  I did some shopping and a little relaxation....perfect!

Spring is playing tricks on me!  On Friday it was almost 80 and today it's 50 and cold!  I'm taking this Spring day by day! I wanted to wear a bright statement necklace, but since it was Earth Day I went with this green one.

What's up chicos y chicas!  It's a gorgeous day in my neighborhood! 

I know I haven't worn anything too springy yet but damn it, I'm always COLD!  LOL!    I'm trying to embrace the warmer weather but when I leave my house in the am it's still pretty chilly.  This is where layering is key! 

You can wear a pretty floral top or dress and layer it with a military inspired jacket like mine, a blazer, a cardi!  It all works!  

Dress for you, and no one else!

Mandee Spring Lookbook

Happy Thursday dolls! 

Sorry for the lack of posts this week.  I've been a little under the weather.  I think I had a stomach bug.  Feeling a little better today.

I wanted to share with you some fun spring looks from one of my favorite stores.

Mandee is always my go to store for the latest trends without breaking the bank!  Jenny from the Mandee team reached out to me, and sent me a sneak peak of their Spring Lookbook. 

Lots of the pieces are very versatile and can be dressed up or down!  Here are some of my favorite pieces!

Here is one of those versatile pieces I was talking about, "THE SHIRT DRESS!"  Whether you wear it during the day with flats, a straw hat, or at night with heels its a must for spring/summer!  So many ways to dress this up or down!

 

Flats, flats, and more flats!!!!  As you all know, I LOVE wearing  flats.  I know that might sound weird for a fashionista like me, but I just love being comfy.  Besides with flats like these, who needs heels!  I love the rhinestone details on some of these sandals.  They are easy to take from day to night. 

Back to basics!  No matter how much color you add to your wardrobe nothing is more chic than black and white.  It just never goes out of style!  Perfect for anytime of the day!

It's all in the statement!  Statement necklace are all the rage!  I have a few myself and even if your wearing a simple tee, they just make everything look better!

April showers, bring May flowers!  Sooo many designers are playing with florals for spring/summer!  So girly and fun!
