Hello December!  Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  Today's my first day back to work since then and I'm super excited. #NOT! 

 

So how did you all do with Black Friday and Cyber Monday?  Too many sales, too little time.  I did hit up a few stores over the weekend, which was mayhem.  I got this cardigan at Kohl's and its so soft and plush.  A long cardigan is one of my favorite sweaters for fall/winter.  Cozy and warm but still stylish.  A great boot ties it all together.  Of course I added my favorite cross body bag by Kate Spade for a pop of color.

So I got this dress a while ago at Target and like always, I shoved it in my closet and forgot I even had it.  I wore this dress on Monday night for dinner with friends.  It was a casual dinner on a Monday so I figured, I'd wear flats and a cute dress and keep it movin.  This dress just didn't work for me.  I wasn't even going to share it with you, but we all have hits and misses in fashion so I just had to.  I knew I wanted to wear flats, because it was casual and a Monday.  I didn't think this dress was as long as it was.  I for sure should have worn heels!  I also didn't like that it bunches on the sides, the material is like scuba gear and it was just funky.  You should have seen it with out the belt!  No bueno!  Don't get me wrong, I think the dress is super cute!  Did I style it properly?  NO!  I think this dress would probably look cuter in the fall with a blazer, maybe booties.  This will for sure be a style challenge for me.  I WILL style this dress again.  How?  I have no idea but stay tuned.

Así que conseguí este vestido hace un tiempo en Target y como siempre lo metí en mi armario y se olvidó incluso que lo tenía.  Me puse este vestido el lunes para cenar con amigas.  Fue una cena informal, así que pensé, me pondría tacón bajo y un vestido lindo y segir.  Este vestido no funcionó para mí.  Ni siquiera iba a compartirlo con ustedes, pero todos tenemos aciertos y errores en la moda, así que sólo tenía que hacerlo.  Yo sabía que quería llevar tacón bajo, porque era informal y un lunes. Yo no pense que este vestido era tan largo como era.  Yo seguro debería poner me tacón alto!  Además, no me gusta que los racimos en los lados, el material es como el equipo de buceo y no me gusto.  Usted debe haber visto sin el cinturón!  No bueno!  No me malinterpreten, creo que el vestido es super lindo!  Creo que este vestido probablemente se vería más lindo en el otoño con un blazer, quizás botines.  Voy a poner me este vestido de nuevo.  ¿Cómo? No tengo ni idea.  Mantenerse en sintonía.

Ahhhh jeans......I feel like I haven't wore jeans all summer except for white jeans.  Boyfriend jeans don't count...their ripped.  LOL!  I think with all the fun outfit choices for summer, like maxi dresses, skirts, and shorts we put jeans on the back burner.  Which I have no problem with since I live in them for fall and winter.  But sometimes we just gotta throw on a good jean and keep it moving.  I think it's easier to wear jeans at night for summer since the heat can be brutal during the day.  Day or night always remember to pair them with bright fun summer colors.

Ahhhh mahones......Siento que no me a puesto mahón todo el verano a excepción de los pantalones de mahón blancos.  Creo que con todas las opciones de vestir para el verano, como vestidos de maxi, faldas, y pantalones cortos....ponemos los pantalones de mahón en un segundo plano.  No tengo ningún problema con eso porque yo vivo en ellos para el otoño y el invierno.  Pero aveces tenemos que poner nos los mahones y seguir.  Creo que es más fácil de usar los pantalones de jean en la noche para el verano ya que el calor puede ser brutal durante el día.  De día o de noche siempre recuerdan usar los colores brillante de verano.

Happy Monday Sweets!  Hope you all had a lovely weekend!  As always they are way too short.  I feel like this summer is just flying by.  Where did July go?  Can't wait for my Chicago trip next month! 

 

Today I'm mixing it up and getting a little edgy.  I got this moto vest at Kohl's and I think it's a perfect piece to transition into fall and winter.  I get to a point where I stop buying summer clothes and think about pieces that I can wear into fall.  This vest is perfect for that.  I can wear it now with shorts or dresses like I did, or I can wear it later with knee boots and jeans.  I wore it with wedge espadrilles to give it that summer feel.  Hope you like!

White sandals, yes or no?  I've never really been a fan of white shoes in general.  For some reason I'd rather do a metallic, but when I found these for only $12 at Windsor I was sold!  The stacked heel is perfect!  I saw these Jessie Randall online for $350!

Sandalias blancas, sí o no?  Nunca he sido un fan de los zapatos blancos en general. Por alguna razón yo prefiero poner me unos zapatos metálicos, pero cuando encontré esto por sólo $ 12 en Windsor me fue vendida!  El tacón es perfecto! Vi estos Jessie Randall en línea por $ 350!

Hi there dolls!  Just kickin it in my $6 Old Navy metallic flats.  Metallic sandals and flats can be staples in your spring and summer wardrobes. The gleaming metallic sheen compliments a spectrum of colors, and who doesn't love metallics.  Looking to see if I can find a rose gold sandal or flat, now that would be a score!

 

I also wanted to let you know that I will be translating my posts from English to Spanish.  Gotta represent for my latinos!

 

 

Hola dolls! Apenas kickin en mis $ 6 pisos  metálicos de Old Navy. Sandalias metálicas y pisos pueden ser básicos en su primavera y verano empotrados. El brillo metálico brillante se complementa con una gama de colores, y que no ama a los metálicos. Mirando para ver si puedo encontrar una sandalia de oro rosa o plana, ahora que sería un récord!

Happy Friday babes! Can't believe it's Memorial Day Weekend!  

If your looking for a casual/chic outfit idea here's what I wore last weekend for my AC trip.  I'm sure your all going to hit up a few bbq's this weekend, and this outfit would be perfect.  The flats are so fun and you can never go wrong with a fab sun hat or fedora.
