Happy Fashion Thursday!  Who's going to Fashion's Night Out??  Wish I could..... :(

Every morning I get up hoping it will start to feel cooler outside.  Then I check my Iphone and the weather says 90!  Oh and lets not forget the freaking humidity.....horrible! 

This dress is super light, so I tried to fall it up by pairing it with my blazer and flats.  Are you getting into the fall mood yet?  I'm trying to hold on to summer for as long as I can.  I do love the fall but I will miss the easiness of the summer.  I'm not ready for socks, boots, scarves, gloves, etc.....!  Oh lord I'm getting agita just thinking about it.  We still have a few more days of summer so I won't rush it!  #summerpleasestay!

DC to the "Max" (DC part 3)

Hope you all enjoyed your Labor day weekend!  I had a pretty relaxing one...just chilled.  I don't know about most of you, but when I travel I like to be super comfy.  This is what I wore to leave for DC in the morning.  I got this maxi dress a while ago and hadn't worn it.  I thought it was perfect for the long drive.

After the wedding on Saturday, the hubby and I went sightseeing and I wore this dress again!  I really didn't want to pack too much, and I was exhausted after all that partying.  As they say "all good things, come to an end."  This is my last DC post :(   Hubby and I visited DC like 2yrs ago and saw most of the statues, but we hadn't seen the Marting Luther King and Roosevelt.  I looovveeeddd the Martin statue...just breath taking.  I hope you enjoy these pics!

Don't we all love Pinterest!  Yes!!!  While looking through the beauty pins, I came across a really pretty braided bun.  I decided to try it today, and I think I did a pretty good job.  Do you get inspiration from Pinterest?   

 

I'm always on there....I just love looking through fashion and beauty pics.  I'm sure my hubby wishes I get inspired while looking at their food pins!  I'm not a fan of the kitchen.  Lol!   I'm also not a big fan of this weekend.  It just reminds me that summer is coming to an end.  This makes me very, very sad!  Anyway, hope your having an awesome weekend!

A Washington DC Wedding (part 2)

TGIF!  It's Friday and a 3 day weekend!  Woohoo!!!!!  Hope you all have good Labor Day plans. 

Here I am with part 2 of my DC trip.  This was thee best day there....the wedding!  I must say everything was super FAB! 

For starters we were shuttled to VA where the ceremony took place.  After driving for so long to get into DC, hubby and I were happy to be shuttled.  It was also cool to chat with some of Carol & Garyl's other friends and family.

The reception was held on the beautiful roof top of  Charlie Palmer Steak.  What an amazing view of the Capitol.  It was truly breath taking!  Oh and let's not forget the food.....AMAZING!

The hubby and I had an amazing time!  We danced the night away, met new friends, and shared in the union of 2 amazing friends!  Wishing them nothing but happiness and lots of babies!

Polka Dots (DC part 1)

Amigos!!!!  I've missed you!  I had an amazing time in DC!  Friends, family, awesome food, great sights, and best of all the union of two amazing people.  #ILOVEWEDDINGS! 

These pictures are from our 1st night there.  We were exhausted....we sat in 6hrs of traffic.  As soon as we got there all we wanted was food and wine!  We went into Chinatown for food and drinks.  I think the name of the place we went to was Bar Louie's.  I kept it casual with skinnies and a blazer.  Keeping up with the latest trend....I had to have this polka top when I saw it at Old Navy.  I keep seeing polka everywhere....right? 

I figured I would do several parts of my DC trip so I don't bum bard you with a bunch of random pictures.  Sorry for the quality of these pics but my good camera was charging, and all I had was my Iphone.

Hello blog world!  Hope you all had a GREAT weekend!  I just wanted to share my lazy Sunday outfit with you dolls.  The weather has been super gorg lately......low humidity, nice breeze, BUT it's also reminding me of fall which I'm not happy about. 

I still can't believe were at the end of August.  The only good thing about it being the end of August is my upcoming mini getaway.  The hubby and I are leaving for Washington, DC this Thursday.  I can't wait to see my friend on her wedding day!  I've been super busy these past few weekends, so I haven't been able to put cute outfits together.  I was running errands all day yesterday and this dress was super easy and light weight. 

I'm not sure how many posts I will actually get in before I leave, but I promise to have LOTS of fun pics when I get back.

It's Friday which means I couldn't get any better!  I wanted to share a few pics from last night.  I went to dinner with some of my favorite ladies.  We were celebrating 2 of my close friends birthdays.  Why are my pictures pink?  Well the lighting outside the restaurant was super dark.  Gotta love those Jersey strip malls!  Anyway, the pics looked so blah that I decided to filter them.  Hope you like!

I got this cardi at Target not too long ago.  I really liked the floral pattern.  It was a nice night with low humidity, so It was perfect.

I went to the mall to pick up birthday gifts for my luvies, and of course I had to buy myself something.  I found these metallic tip flats at Forever 21 and just had to have them.  The metallic tip is a huge trend for this season.  Happy to have found these!
