White Out

Blazer: Thrifted
Top & Jeans: Old Navy
Handbag: c/o Galian Handbags
Booties: Material Girl (Macy's)

Happy MLK Day!  Hope you all had a great weekend!

I've said it over and over again, before my blog you couldn't catch me in white after Labor Day.  What was I thinking!  I found the easiest way for me to embrace white in winter was to winterize it!  Adding a chunky knit sweater or a cord blazer like I did just gives it that winter vibe.

Have a sweet Monday!

How are my sweets doing?  Fab I hope!
I wore this on Sunday to go with my hunny to AC.  We had a 3 day weekend and it was awesome to relax and have Monday off.  It's been pretty cold here in NJ considering it's fall.

I've been the layering queen lately.  Anything not to wear a bulky coat!  I was gifted this top when I attended LuckyFabb and it's super soft and super comfy.  I wanna live in it!  It went perfect with my new burgundy booties, I got on sale at Macy's.  These boots are perfect for fall!

LUCKYFABB DAY 2 & LULU'S BLOGGER MEETUP

Hi there sweets!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I should have posted this last week but I've been so busy.

Day 2 of LuckyFabb was so different from day 1.

First of all it was at the Condé Nast Building.  Home of Lucky Magazine and Vogue!  Forget trying to even get on their floor, security was tighter than at the White House.

We had to pick our sessions for day 2.  My first session was "Beauty Scoope" with Covergirl, Pantene, & Secret.  I use and love all of these products, so it was super fun to learn some inside.

Selfie with Lissette during our session!

My 2nd session was with the awesome Leandra Medine from The Man Repeller!  I LOVE her blog!

In my eyes no one does men's wear like Leandra.  From slacks, to over sized coats; she brings it!
She was so funny and sweet!

After a morning of sessions, a few of us headed to lunch.  We went to HB Burger and it was yummy!

My burger was delish!

After lunch I had a street style session with Canon.  I was super excited to learn how to work my camera.  It was very informative!

LuckyFabb is just that.....FABB!  After all the sessions we took home the mama of all gift bags! We got them on our way out so I didn't take a pic but lets just say they were 70lbs.  So you can just imagine the insane amount of goodies we got! The downside?  Carrying that damn bag over 10 blocks through NYC!

Oh look....I didn't even notice that you can see my gift bag in this pic.  Yup, it was huge!

Just like on my day 1, the party didn't stop there!  Some of us girls were invited to a private meetup with Lulu's, at STK in Midtown.  We had the opportunity to take a peek at their fall collection.  The other girls decided to change their outfits, I went the easy route.  Traded my flats for knee boots, and added a red lip.   Night time ready!

Thank you Stephanie and Lulu's for a wonderful evening and my fab coat!

I hope you enjoyed LuckyFabb through my eyes.  If you're a blogger and are debating whether to attend...just do it!  It was an awesome experience!  Can't wait till next year!

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great day!

Movie Night

If Monday were shoes, they'd be crocs!

Yup, I'm in a silly/funky kinda mood.  I read that on an e-card and thought it was totally appropriate for this rainy and crappy Monday morning.

Hope you all had a fun weekend.    Friday was movie night with the girls and I'll start by saying that these pics took forever and by the time we got my camera working, I was a sweaty mess!  I was laughing so hard that I couldn't contain myself.  At one point all the girls were trying to take my pics and I had to keep my pose for like a solid 2 minutes.....hilarious!  The things we do for these blog posts!

Thank you Laura, Letti, and Jess!

Anyway, lets talk fashion!  I got this vest at Kohl's recently and I could wear it everyday.  It has that military inspired feel and I think it's a great piece to have in your closet; especially for layering.  Speaking of layering.....I really like layering necklaces!   The more merrier, right?  I think wearing 2 statement necklaces makes quite the statement and takes a casual outfit to the next level.

Short Necklace: Cheri Trendy
Long Necklace: Ny & Company

Leopard Flats: Macy's (Jessica Simpson)

I read something that says "leather is the new black" which for this season is very true.  But I feel the same way about leopard print.  It has really become the new black in my eyes.  These Jessica Simpson's are especially cool with the pop of color on the front.

Tee: Old Navy
Vest: Kohl's
Jeans: Mandee

Thanks for visiting!  Hope your Monday goes by veryyyyyyy quickly!  That's what I'm hoping!
