Knits & Rips

Sweater: Macy's | Jeans: Target | Booties & Handbag: Kohl's | Bracelet: Kendra Scott

Happy Friday!

Excited to start my Christmas shopping this weekend.  Have you all started?

I'm always that late shopper, hoping to get lots done this weekend.  I probably won't since my holiday office party is on Sunday.  I do have Monday off so maybe I can get some shopping done then, fingers crossed!

Another beautiful day means I'm living in knits and rips!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

A little bit of everything...

Turtleneck: H&M |  Jeans: Hudson |  Leopard Booties, Fringe Cardi, & Handbag: Target

December is officially here!  It surely doesn't feel like it.  The weather here in NJ has been glorious!  Sunny and high 60's, this fall has been amazing!

I wore this outfit for a little holiday shopping over the weekend.  I'm literally wearing some of my favorite fall pieces.  Turtlenecks, high waist jeans, leopard booties, long cardigans & fringe!!!

I have so many long cardi's in my closet and I love experimenting with different ways of styling them.  If you have a cardigan like this one that is short sleeve, add a turtleneck to fall it up!  It's that easy!  Now lets hope the weather stays this nice!

Have a great day!

Knits, Fur, & Polka Dots

Necklace: Mandee | Sweater & Vest: H&M | Skirt & Handbag: Old Navy | Tights: Hue | Booties: Target

Knits, fur, & little polka = the perfect fall outfit!

I know I sound like a broken record but it's soooooo true!  Fall is the season for layering!  Not only does it keep you warm, but layering can take your outfit to the next level.

Add a pair of killer boots, or maybe a hat and your set to take on fall like a pro!

TREND REPORT: Fringe!

Top: 10 Spot | Jeans: c/o SCHOEN by YU Denim | Fringe Booties: Women's Feliz Fringe Ankle Boots - Cognac

Fringe obsessed?!  Duh!

Fringe was seen everywhere from the runway, to the red carpet, and on everything from bags, jackets, skirts, and of course boots.  If your not rocking it yet, you will be.

Not obsessed like I am, my best advice is start with one piece.  Maybe a handbag, a poncho, or booties like the ones I'm wearing.  They are the perfect fringe addition without going overboard.  I scored these at Target for only $23!  A perfect way to embrace a new trend without spending a fortune.

Happy shopping!

New Skincare Routine with Conffianz

It's BEAUTY Monday with Conffianz!  Who is Conffianz?

They are a skincare company dedicated specifically to Latinas, and their Clear & Confident Kit ($49.95) is specifically formulated to treat dark spots and uneven skin tones.  There is no one Latina skin type.  We come from many backgrounds and have many different skin tones.  Enriched with vitamins and minerals, each product in their Clear & Confident collection is designed to make a positive difference in the health and appearance of skin.

With the days getting colder, I have to change my skin care routine.  For my skin, moisture is key!

I started using Conffianz, about a month ago, the word Conffianz comes from the Spanish words “confianza” and “confidente” meaning trust and confidence.  Being a Latina with dark spots and uneven skin tones, I was thrilled to be trying this duo out.

I was mostly surprised with how rich both the moisturizer and cleanser really are.  The cleanser removed ALL of my makeup with just 2 tiny pumps.  I can't even get my makeup remover to do that.  I also love that the moisturizer has spf30, because even though the summer is over we need to protect ourselves from the sun.  This will for sure be my skincare routine for a while because my skin loved it!   You can buy Conffienz online or at your participating Target stores.  Target is even hosting a scholarship!  Read below......

Scholarship
Conffianz launched in 250 Target stores a few weeks ago and in celebration they announced the Inexplicablemente Bella Scholarship. Conffianz will proudly donate a percentage of its Target sales from September 15th through the end of 2015 to fund the Inexpicablemente Bella Scholarship. This scholarship will be available to females of Latino descent living in the United States who are or will pursue full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-or four year college or university, or vocational-technical school.  The winner will be announced on or around April 15th of 2016.

For more information and to submit an application visit:

Happy Friday!

This felt like the longest week ever!  So happy the weekend is here!

A few weeks ago, I was invited to the Serge Normant at John Frieda hair salon for a new fall look and a little shopping with SUNO.

I love me some John Frieda products, (I can't live without my Frizz Ease!) so needless to say I was super excited for this event.  I was greeted with champagne, treats, and everyone was so nice and the salon was beautiful.
I didn't get anything drastic done on my hair, because after consulting with my stylist and letting him know that I've been heat free for 4mo. (can you believe it!) we decided to just tone my brassiness and break up my root a bit.  My stylist was so helpful and gave me a few tricks to keep my curls healthy and fabulous.

After my five star hair treatment, we got to do a little shopping and the SUNO pieces were so bomb!  The midi skirts were so pretty, but I ended up getting a beaded top which I can't wait to wear.

Thank you to everyone at John Frieda salon, and SUNO for a lovely afternoon!

It's beauty Monday on the blog!  Sharing my current facial & moisturizer, so stay tuned.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Moto Blues

Jacket: Super Glam News (not sure of the brand, sorry!) | Top: H&M | Skirt: Target | Shoes: Zara | Sunnies: Franco Sarto

Happy Friday!

I scored this fabulous moto jacket for only $15!  I attended a super fun event (Modern Latina Sip & Shop) in which you shop fellow bloggers closets.  I love to support my fellow bloggers and of course LATINAS!!!!  Thank you to blogger bestie Melissa from Super Glam News for the amazing deal!  Love ya boo!

Moto jackets are a great transitioning piece to take you from summer into fall.  These aren't your 80's moto jackets.  Fringe, zippers, shearling, and an array of colors make them super versatile and of course, badass!  Mine is a fun pastel blue, which is hard to see in these pictures, but it's perfect for a pop of color which is why I wore all black.  I'm not one for all black everything, I love to add color!

Soon on the blog, I'll have a beauty post in which I'm talking about a new skin care line, that I'm in LOVE with, an outfit post wearing fringe (I'm fringe obsessed), and of course my experience at the John Frieda salon.  Lot's of fun stuff, stay tuned!

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
